What does the future hold?

Cancellations, postponements and general uncertainty due to Cornavirus make it difficult to point to future events, but here goes...

Natural & Organic Products Europe

In light of ExCel London being converted into a temporary NHS-run field hospital, Natural & Organic Products Europe 2020 has been cancelled.

The show will return next year on Sunday 18th and Monday 19th April 2021.

HFI Annual Lecture and Lunch

Former John Lewis Chairman Sir Charlie Mayfield is the keynote speaker at this year’s Health Food Institute (HFI) Lunch on Wednesday June 24.

Sir Charlie (pictured) recently stepped down after more than a decade as Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership, which includes the Waitrose supermarket chain.

He was the Government-appointed Chair of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills from 2010 to 2016 and Chair of the British Retail Consortium from 2014 to 2016, and was knighted for services to business in 2013.

The theme of his speech will be ‘The Future of the High Street’ discussing how retail is evolving, with opportunities to ask questions on how this might affect the specialist health food store.

The HFI Lunch is always a must-attend event in the natural products calendar, and has now moved to a new easy-access venue, the Friends Quaker House on Euston Road, London (directly opposite Euston Station with multiple connections via the Underground).

To book your place email enquiries@healthfoodinstitute.org.uk or telephone the HFI Office on 0115 976 7280.
